Thread: I Can Download Torrents, But I Can't Download anything else

hi!

1 part of internet works: download using transmission. can't use browser , can't use apt-get. have ubuntu 10.04, have had same issues ubuntu 11.04, lubuntu 11.04 , ubuntu 10.10. have used ubuntu years , haven't had difficulties until had format computer , reinstall ubuntu.

how should go solve this? there command should type in terminal let's me know more connection , hardware? how should more information? should type dmesg or , post output here? should list hardware in forum?
