okay, here go again, don't it.

okay have spent past week in dual booted windows 7 play fable iii, come kubuntu find sound not working on it, opened pulseaudio , found levels set needed be, not hdmi regular vt1720 envy 24pt. can this?

are 1 broken audio port?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
