hi all,

new mactel 8.1 / ubuntu 11.10 user tried install drivers ppa, appears there still no oneiric build available (or natty either matter). there reason this? if it's matter of repackaging drivers, willing help, i'm programmer , reading ubuntu dev docs slowly, don't know drivers...

btw, far i've got of important functionality working out of box (i installed utouch (and xserver-xorg-input-synaptics) two-finger scrolling , three-finger window movement working), bluetooth, camera etc. work great, wireless still not recognized , that's bit of issue :/

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
