Thread: Peerguardian / known IP blocker on a headless server

hey guys,

on windows, have peerguardian. can download "captured" / "unsafe" ips , add folder , peerguardian or equivalent start blocking these ips.

on ubuntu server, latest equivalent peerguardian? , same method work? download file ip address , on.

tried searching results quite old.

peerguardian frankly waste of time. torrents provide public ip address design. connects swarm can see ip long you're connected. way anonymize bittorrent traffic via vpn proxy btguard.

peerguardian provides false sense of security imo.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
