hello,

used virtual machine create postfix server on ubuntu using tutorial https://help.ubuntu.com/8.04/serverguide/c/postfix.html , when came testing part, telnet mail.myname.com 25, tells me it's unable connect remote host: connection timed out..
do? please

thread moved server platforms.

did use server's hostname? work when use server's ip address?

p.s. guide following 3 years old, there newer ones available.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
