Thread: Running executable files from a USB


i have usb formatted in fat32, , use usb hold files because ubuntu installation 7gb. problem is, programs on not execute. have managed around using shell scripts, except have come across cannot use script around.
trying use android sdk linux. starts fine shell script launch it, except when go tools > manage avds > (select avd) > start > launch error:

failed start emulator: cannot run program "/media/5072-4795/other programs/android sdk/android-sdk-linux/tools/emulator": java.io.ioexception: error=13, permission denied

know how fix?
cannot move onto hard drive because don't have enough space.

what have set permissions on external drive , file?
