i make server , going put on computer lubuntu, reason cant ubuntu server disk work installed lubuntu , going remove excess baggage need know programs install, or maybe command install server on it, because uninstall desktop together. great.

have file server, think thats sftp or ssh, ive seen lamp thing dont need mail server or webhosting , jazz, store files , able access them anywhere not in house.

10.04 server + virtualbox + sshd. might throw in port knocking measure. can make tor hidden service , host media directory python simplehttpserver. whatever.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
