Thread: TP-WN727N to work with Ubuntu 11.10

hi,

have never used linux before , having great difficulties in setting wireless connection desktop pc. have tp link tl-wn727n wireless usb adapter
(the 150mbps version) cannot work can't find driver let ubuntu 11.10 use it.

can me, complete beginner?

hello seem have same issue on 32 bit system.. let see if can 1 .. had luck making work on 64 bit installation using xp 64 bit driver , windows wireless software ( ndisgtk) downloaded ubuntu software center ( appears in list on dashboard)

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
