Thread: Ubuntu always identifies network, but rarely connects to it

hi everyone.
have edimax b/g wireless card worked on ubuntu 8.04 , 9.10 in past. worked recent debian release after installed driver it.
ubuntu 11.10 have log out , in many times before i, seemingly luck, connected internet.
when connect instantly , no problems in speed or stability far can tell.
using same wireless router before , have no problems connection in windows. suggestions?

sorry if issue has been posted before. have been searching solution quite while.
thanks.

go earlier version of ubuntu eg version 10.4 lts ( live cd ) , see if fixes problem.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
