Thread: Waccom pen and tablet too pressure sensitive


i have installed ubuntu ocelot on laptop, , encountered problems using (on windows) functional wacom drawing tablet: bamboo pen model "ctl-460".

tablet works fine in terms of tracking , clicking, in both gimp , inkscape pressure sensitivity drawing set far high. there still degree of variance obtainable, nothing range have known device provide.

did several searches , found page reporting appears same bug:

after following instructions linked on page compile working set of drivers, unless i've misread looks fix reported have worked, problem persists. reading other posts on page speculating on incorrect values being set in xorg.conf.d configuration file, attempted without success locate own version of file. right concerned @ it's apparent absence?
fixes device, issue , others, have been able find seem reference xorg.conf.d file.

might worth mentioning additionally experienced issue mentioned on page, , followed instructions there resolution of said issue:

relatively new linux can tell, fixing problem appreciated.
