export/import text captions not working

i exported text captions word document, had copyeditor edit text in updated text caption data column, , imported project. success message items imported, none of captions updated. can begin troubleshooting?

which version of captivate it? (help > adobe captivate ) , tell operating system it?

 

have tried on project (a blank new project test purpose) , check whether works there or not?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
