Flash Player problems

about 10 times day while in ie10, windows 8, message says windows wants install flash player.  "ok" , download window appears.  when download complete (about 16mb) message saying current version of flash player installed, , notified when new version available.  getting annoying.  way out of this?

can post screenshot of that?

 

to update flash player ie10 on windows 8 should use windows update.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
