How will the Cloud effect use of files on Networked drives?

currently have lr on desktop , laptop. cannot work on files via laptop , have work show when use pc. have imported files lr same location on both of machines file updates specific machine use. had tried move files ntework drive , doesn't work either. way unplug drive 1 computer , move next. cc subscription eliminate un integrated use of lr?

working catalogs not changing cc subscription. lightroom still available boxed product well.

 

the current support networked catalogs has not changed (not supported due many many different network configurations possible).

 

as far working on same catalog between laptop , desktop, you'll want put catalog on external drive along images , previews.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
