My photos are disappearing from my hard drive...I want them back! help!

my photos disappearing hard drive...i want them back.  do?  how can ahold of adobe , photos , stop happening in future!

adobe not access hard drive. way can think files disappear if set sync elements 9,10, or 11 photoshop.com , deleted files photoshop.com , did sync.  revel files copied photoshop.com during the  transition not delete photos anywhere. when upload revel, not delete files on hard drive.
