Printing PDFs as spreads on 8.5x11

hi,

 

i have indesign document pages of 8"x10" have exported pdf. print spreads pdf 1 spread per 8.5x11" piece of paper in landscape orientation (11x8.5). i'm able print 1 spread per page, spreads printing higher on page if pages 8.5x11...which makes sense...10" not tall 11." there anyway fake it?

what mean fake it?  if documents pages 8.50 x 10.00 there inch of space on page if print them on 8.50 x 11.00 pages.  looking achieve?
