Thread: 3.0.0-14 slower to boot than earlier kernels


i have 2 xubuntu 11.10 machines running 3.0.0-14 kernel, , both of them take minute boot (compared earlier kernels). looks spend time probing non-existent hardware (because there's no hard disk activity during minute). known problem ? there workaround ? ok, it's not end of world, it's irritation. excerpt of dmesg output attached.

confirm such slowdown kernel 3.0.0-14:
