Thread: Help!!! Cannot copy files to the host machine.

hi , have problem ubuntu 11.10 x64 edition.
cannot use "copy & paste function" copy file(like info.txt) vmware workstation (ver 8.0.1) host machine (ubuntu).i error message "error while copying.there error getting information "info.txt". show more details: error stating file '/0daa3e28/info.txt':no such file or directory."

how can fix problem? thanks.

p.s. can use "copy & paste function" copy file host machine (ubuntu) vmware workstation? seems 1 way copy.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
