Thread: RealVNC to Vinagre? Allowing ubuntu to be controlled

i have used ubuntu pc control windows pc.
vinagre (remote desktop connection) -> realvnc.

there way allow ubuntu pc controlled realvnc pc?

have tried ticking sharing options in system > prefs > remote desktop vnc times out error code (10060)

note doing inside local network controlled wireless router.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
