Thread: Screen Cut off on Compaq Screen

hi,

installed xubuntu on old compaq s1000 2003. screen compaq fp5315

added ram , works beautifully, problem display.

bottom of screen has been cut off.

tried changing resolution in system settings doesn't work.

clue can do?

mouse pointer display in different place functionality is. presume connected first problem.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
