i'm trying set ubuntu server can send emails, think done postfix. ran "sudo dpkg-reconfigure postfix". asks me system mail name. put here, if want use hotmail or gmail account?

the system mail name server use identify other mail servers. if have (or have) domain name other people can use send mail directly server, use that.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
