i trying update system, says system date, when check updates manually, says
w:failed fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/aheck/ppa/u...source/sources 404 not found
, w:failed fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/aheck/ppa/u...-i386/packages 404 not found
, e:some index files failed download. have been ignored, or old ones used instead.
tells me check internet connection. kernel not upgraded (i still have 3.0.0.14 while friend did fresh install has 3.2.0.7) nor system updates. how fix repo problem without having reinstall?

the third party ppa not provide packages 11.10 (oneiric). can check going url

http://ppa.launchpad.net/aheck/ppa/ubuntu/dists/

can remove third party repository , should work normal.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
