Thread: Tablet rotation setting?

i've installed 11.10 on asus r1e tablet pc.

news is, i'm close having working.

issue have question is, when flip screen normal tablet mode, ubuntu detects screen flip, , rotates screen portrait mode. doesn't rotate wacom inputs.

when rotate screen normal, ubuntu detects screen flip, - doesn't rotate wacom inputs. since doesn't change them when rotating tablet mode, inputs remain correct normal mode. unless i've run script make wacom inputs work in portrait mode, in case flipping screen normal doesn't put wacom inputs normal.

somewhere in ubuntu setting or script detects these screen flips. want know either a) is, can edit , make wacom inputs update correctly screen rotation - or b) delete it, can change screen modes manually via scripts i've written. if can't make work right, @ least want out of way.

thanks.

hi jack r,

i'm thinking asus r1e using generic acpi rotation sript somewhere in /etc think. i'll see if can remember where. script hasn't been updated new linux wacom conventions. see rotation how to.

edit: yep, /etc/acpi/rotatescreen.sh. huh, no stuff wacom input tools in looks like. easy enough add.
