Typing on a Circular Path in CS6

i've found lots of tutorials, of them leave me in dust. seem versions earlier cs6, or omit important step or mention function can't find.

 

anyway, can tell me steps follow in order following?:

 

i'm creating state seal, blue band around design. inside circular blue band, i'd type words "great seal of" @ top , "washington state" @ bottom. need 2 separate sets of text, because don't want "washington state" upside down.

 

anyway, how do this?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
