Windows 8, Cap6, Publish to Network Folder: Hangs at 50%, no network access until reboot

using windows 8 captivate 6, symtpom occurs on 2 different computers.  publish files network folder, has worked pretty since january until week.   intermittently, when publishing, hang occurs @ 50%.   there no network access @ point.  no browsers open pages, etc.  recovery far reboot.  using 2 different versions of cap6 (6.0.1.240 & 6.1.0.319).    suggestions?

it recommended work on projects once saved on local drive , publish them locally , after publishing move them network drive.

please try publishing projects local folder , check whether publishes there?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
