Deactivated Creative Cloud, upgraded to Win 8, now cannot do ANYTHING with Creative Cloud
i installed programs creative cloud, , worked. weekend, decided upgrade computer windows 8 pro. deactivated creative cloud software, installed windows 8 in place. since upgrading, cannot creative cloud. programs not open. not uninstall programs because not open , programs no longer show in 'remove programs' in windows. adobe application manager not let me re-download anything; says in error applications installed , working. not. have taken drastic step of deleting program files hard drive, hoping trigger adobe application manager re-download programs. however, aam still thinks programs installed , don't need update. how re-download programs can use them?
i think we'll need more information how upgraded win 8. in-place upgrade, preserved existing data, or did clean fresh install of win 8?
if former, windows might have retained meta information that's causing creative cloud act up.
this seems candidate cs cleaner tool: http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html. try , let know if works.
