Flash Player 11.7.700.169 crashing when trying to connect Webcam in Adobe Connect 11.2 r261

hello,

 

i hope can me. discovered week cannot connect webcam adobe connect anymore. latter stop working. if uninstall adobe connect add-in have same problem time flash player crashes.

i tried firefox 20.1 (latest release), have updates  on windows 7 professional (x64), latest flash (as see), latest adobe connect add-in , website runs adobe connect 9 far know.

the webcam working other software (like skype or on silverlight). windows claims drivers für webcam up-to-date.

i tried roll changes on computer (dell latitude e6410 if of relevance), installed older version of flash etc. etc. no change in behaviour....

 

i found discussions xsplit(something) problem. have no xsplit installted.

there logs asked for. find these?

 

i hope can me since need work machine , aconnect in several projects. webcam treat!

i'm sorry you're going through this.  might running conflict our protected mode introduced in flash player 11.4.  please try troubleshooting steps outlined in faq:

 

how troubleshoot flash player's protected mode firefox?

 

in particular, i'd recommend temporarily disabling protected mode (for troubleshooting purposes only) see if addresses issue.

 

i'd recommend giving browser shot see if crash reproduces there well.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
