Is it possible to import multiple clips "as one"?

in sony sonaps system possible import whole xdcam disk one. clips separated marker. there possibility in premiere?

sort of.

 

each 'clip' come in separately.  time pp ask spanned files, single long take broken down separate files.  pp see multiple files 1 long clip.  every time camera stopped generate new clip, , pp see separate clip.

 

i'm curious why you'd want this, though.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
