Is Photoshop offline activation ending?

we need run photoshop on computer without internet access.  photoshop cs6 supports offline activation.  looks future versions of photoshop require internet access initial activation, , re-activation every 30-180 days.  there seems exception large enterprise adobe account executive, doesn't us.  unfortunate.

do need ongoing internet access use creative cloud desktop applications?

 

no.  creative cloud desktop applications (such photoshop , illustrator) installed directly on computer, won't need ongoing internet connection use them on daily basis.

 

you need online when install , license software. if have annual membership, you'll asked connect web validate software licenses every 30 days.  however, you'll able use products 180 days if you're offline.

so, have online when install, after that, need online once every 6 months.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
