Join two images together in PS7.

hi folks exasperated ps 7 again.

 

someone has emailed me old document in 2 sections (jpgs) , want "knit" them again make 1 document (jpg).

 

i've spent ages in ps7 trying this, no avail.

 

help, please?

how far have gotten?

 

have put 2 images same document have 2 layers?

 

then expand canvas size , move top layer aligns on 1 of edges of other document?

 

examples of 2 documents provide more specific help.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
