OSMF ON IPHONE

i developing iphone app connects embeded server on camera , plays video files server, of files mp4 , served wrong mime type , extension (e.g. called video.tjc mime type of "application/octet-stream"), if alter extension files play ok . have tried lot of different technologies round issue none have worked far.

 

is there way of altering osmf allow playback of these files on iphone, ideas have come are:

 

using proxyelement

using mediafactory

creating plugin

 

are there osmf experts can tell me if possible , best way ?

i don't know osmf, try intercepting stream byte array , manipulating bytes there (change mime type , extension on fly).

 

just idea, technically involved, still...

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
