hi, live in coutry australia, have access 3g wireless internet limited bandwidth allowance, possible download  cc apps(when available) offsite i.e. internet cafe or friend's computer in town adsl, , install on home desktop. thanks

you can download trial versions of individual products , install them. can download them offline install cc account page.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
