Thread: Courier IMAP and Postfix SMTP denying connections

hi there,

been trying set mail server site, been following tutorial @ http://flurdy.com/docs/postfix/, i'm trying set account inside ms outlook 2010 , it'll fail connecting via imap. says has sent it's test message looks if it's getting denied tailing logs.

when connecting via imap, here's output:

maybe different password encryption settings (assuming password configured same client , server)?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
