Thread: GPRS connection missing from nm-applet

i had gprs connection working on usb, it's become temperamental. appears in network manager if machine booted phone connected , then, have boot couple of times make happen. internet works fine on phone, detects connection pc, no problems there. contents of wvdial.conf unchanged, owned root , readable/executable all. idea how set right?

10.04 on eeepc 1005ha.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
