Thread: Issues connectine to Cpanel webdav service

hello there, not sure if posting in right place or not.

trying connect cpanel server via webdav. works fine on windows platform using netdrive, , trying set linux laptop same.

have done "file -> connect server" approach using correct server , port (2077 http, 2078 https) , saying "connecting..." never connects , wondering missing package or something. cannot seem work @ all. ideas?

using ubuntu 11.10.

is there way connect webdav server? quite urgent , use linux laptop apposed windows laptop, windows has tendency crash half way through causing more downtime progress.

has ever tried connect cpanel web drive via linux , succeeded? has had same issue sits there , says "connecting...." appreciated.

quick note, seems issue connecting cpanel only, connected cloudme drive absolutely no issue.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
