hi, tried installing ubuntu usb followed instructions online , usb failed boot. try disk next time mac said not read usb. tried on windows side , able reformat it, states capacity around 750 mb supposed 8 gb. there anyway can fix usb normal?

is there more 1 partition on usb? me looks if installation of livecd created 750 mb partition on usb , rest in second partition or not allocated.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
