hi, need on reinstalling ubuntu software center, unistalling key ring acsess because hated password authentication , ubuntu software center got uninstalled me selecting uninstall ubuntu software center, can me reinstall it, tried going dash home , selecting software center app nothing shows salution in fixing problem, if yes can tell me how?

open terminal , type sudo apt-get install synaptic. after synaptic install search ubuntu software center , install synaptic. started synaptic, because unsure software center called. try apt-get ubuntusoftwarecenter, not anything. synaptic in humble opinion quicker, installing multiple packages.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
