Thread: Stop 11.10 from automatically opening a device when I plug it in?


11.10, gnome 3
whenever plug in flash drive or other external storage media, nautilus window automatically opened root of device. there way modify behavior? couldn't find in nautilus preferences. maybe gconf/dconf key?

configuring automounting

enable or disable automount open terminal , type gconf-editor followed [enter] key.
browse /apps/nautilus/preferences/media_automount.

after whatever changes made
