Thread: unable to set the path of EC2_AUTO_SCALING_HOMEq

i trying installing ec2 auto scaling tools in ubuntu 10.04 server instance @ singapore region. seems simple thing install , set path configurations after installing when type as-cmd console throws msg says "command not found"

when type echo $ec2_auto_scaling_home null or blank line,
means nothing set.

fighting issue since couple of days.

kindly me out.

what package $ec2_auto_scaling in?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
