Why is the new Flash Player causing a .sol file to be missing??

hello, im running windows vista service pack 2, new internet explorer... when download newest adobe flash player appears working fine until close out of internet... if go control panel, internet- delete cookies etc, error saying along lines of   macromedia/flashplayer/appdata/      forget rest, anyway   file comes saying .sol file missing , if want create it...  if create it, doesnt anything. , if cancel , closes .sol file missing  popup, , doesnt delete cookies etc..... tried uninstalling, reinstalling no effect... there fix im going through, because feel at  loss on or from, whether adobe problem, vista problem, or microsoft problem...any on issue appreciated,   thanks    -tyler

hi tyler - hard tell what's going on without full errors receiving.  might want take screenshots , post them can investigate further.

 

that said, when delete browser data (cookies, etc.) delete flash .sol files.  it's possible have else running depending on flash , particular .sol file.  however, i've never seen flash complain missing .sol files before.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
