can't load cs2 on windows 8

was running photoshop cs2, got new computer running windows 8, can't load old software , can't afford new upgraded software, versions can download free or cheap?

photoline more affordable. dated interface german brothers put out consistent updates, bug fixes , enhancements (even in same version number range , no cost until major version number change). menu names ps functions differ in many parts. download trial.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
