Crop/Rescale Video Frame

how crop/cut-out/zoom-in in adobe premiere elements 11? have lot of background space in video shot , crop of background out.

for crop. please see effects tab @ bottom of expert view interface/advanced adjustments/transform/crop. after drag crop effect clip, highlighted clip, go applied effects/applied effects palette, , crop panel. expand crop panel reveal settings. adjust settings, including , without use of zoom option.

 

for zoom in , out, check out applied effects tab right of interface, applied effects palette/motion/scale.

 

effects applied entire clip. if want change effect on duration of clip, can keyframe effect (scale, position, opacity, other...). so, keyframing in premiere elements.

 

please let know if need supplemental information.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
