problem in opening wmf file in Illustrator

when wmf image opened in illustrator cs5, image labels (text) got reversed. please let me know might reason , how resolve this.

short of trying move folder or similar clear preferences (moving folder reversible), may never find out.

 

can select each label , object>transform>reflect horizontally (or select , object>transform>transform each, reflect)?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
