Text in PDF fails to print

i experiencing problem regularly , appreciate can give me.

 

i have used indesign cs6 create various print pieces -- ranging one-page flyers 24-page, full-color magazine. in order give clients not have indesign proof copy, have created pdfs choosing "adobe pdf" printer. resulting pdf looks perfect, when sent printer, random lines of text , portions of graphic files missing. using adobe acrobat ix pro.

 

the indesign document looks perfect, , prints directly indesign printer, know not issue indesign or printer. clients report pdfs perfect on screen, yet have same problem missing type when printing printers. leads me believe problem acrobat, have uninstalled , reinstalled acrobat (via creative cloud). did not fix program.

 

if share how so, happy upload/attach indesign file , pdf of 1 of one-page pieces giving me problems, although doubt yield answers, perfect on screen.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
