hi,

did clean install of 11.10. whenever try apt-get update error:


get:9 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com oneiric/universe amd64 packages [5,758 kb]
err http://us.archive.ubuntu.com oneiric/universe amd64 packages

err http://us.archive.ubuntu.com oneiric/universe amd64 packages
404 not found [ip: 91.189.92.184 80]

know might causing it? have feeling it's source of many other apt-get problems i'm having.

from update manager change server... , try again.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
