Thread: Can't get Vbox x64 guests on Ubuntu 11.10 host

hi, running quad q6600 6gb ram , usual. been using windows converting after using centos , redhat @ work.

got virtual box installed fine , had on win7 before converting ubuntu. x64bit guests worked fine.

can x32 bit guests work fine start 64bit 1 few errors.

i've tried allsorts including checking bios, checking if kvm installed , scratching head far.

ideas?

you might want try execute disable bit "disabled" in bios.
