Thread: Gnome 3 looks all glitchy

hey guys,

upgraded 11.10, , decided give gnome3, seemed enjoy based on videos on gnome's webpage. installed shell, , restarted computer, when log gnome, parts of screen (the menu bar @ top, transition between view window , view apps, , of app icons) glitchy , flicker during animations.

have suggestions make go away?

are using proprietary video driver ? if not see if there 1 available in additional drivers , install . 3d driver acceleration needed run shell .

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
