Thread: Help with RAID configuration

hey ubuntu forums, long time no see.
i'm trying set raid, i'm bit inexperienced , i'm not sure if configuration want achieve possible. hoping more knowledgeable point me in right direction.

have 1 2tb , 2 1tb drives configure in such way equivalent 2 2tb drives in raid0.

msi k8n neo2 motherboard has onboard raid thing, website says it:

• nv raid (software)
• supports 4 sata & 2 ata133 hard drives
- raid o or 1, 0+1, jbod supported
- raid function work w/ata133 + sata h/d or 2 sata h/d

you can't use raid0 3 disks. has number, 2, 4, 6, etc.

, sure want use raid0 @ all? data not protected in raid0, if 1 disk fails, gone.

trying achieve?

ps. also, plan dual boot windows or ubuntu? dual boot options more limited.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
