Thread: How to disable GNOME shell clock applet?

hello,

i'm creating screencasts gnome shell 3.2 desktop environment. i'd hide clock applet people don't need distracted date , time i'm recording screencast at.

i've found gnome shell exension move clock's location in top panel, doesn't remove clock altogether, i'm aiming for.

time (pun intended)!

not sure if work in gnome 3.2 shell well, in unity does.

open system settings / date , time, go clock , de-tick "show clock in menu bar".

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
