Thread: Natty "input signal out of range" at login screen - NOT a grub issue
i completed upgrade natty, , seeing video problem haven't found answer via google.
not appear issue grub. after grub completes (with no video issues) , natty takes on (the login window appears), "input signal out of range" on monitor (hp 1920x1080 resolution, working before upgrade @ resolution). no amount of tweaking xorg.conf, or running gnome-display-properties, seems make difference.
login window partly visible, , highly stretched out vertically. screen split black bar 1/3 of way down top. can't see enough of login box log in. seems keys being read, ctrlalt+ doesn't seem have effect.
idea what's going on?
i used www.googlubuntu.com , searched "input signal out of range".
