Thread: Screen flashes at Ubuntu logo loading screen

so morning family wakes me inform me there's problem family computer. go living room see screen flashing on ubuntu loading screen.

computer has ubuntu 10.04 , working fine last night. there can can fix this? starts normal until gets ubuntu loading screen.

by way, stays @ screen forever, wont load , go desktop or else besides flash.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
